What digital camera should I get?
I'm planning to get my first digital camera point n shoot . A Canon, Kodak, Olympus, Sony, Nikon, etc? The price doesn't matter to me too much as long as its 300 or below. Although it'll be my first camera, I want it to be a good camera that can last me awhile. I'll be taking a bunch of pictures of people, scenes and anything, everything. Any good suggestions would help

What would be considered a good quality digital camera?
Well, I'm currently looking around for a nice camera but to be honest, I don't have much knowledge about cameras at all I don't want to spend too much but i'm willing to spend a respectable amount. I'll mainly be using it to take pictures of my artwork, so I want it to be high quality. I may also use it for some other photography for graphic design classes, etc. I've been looking mostly at canons, but that's just because I'm ignorant to what else is out there.So, what do you think I should get? Question about SANYO digital camera not working. Battery Problem?
I got a SANYO VPC s1275 for Christmas, and now it's already not working. It shows that the FULLY CHARGED batteries are dead and it allows me to take only 4 or 5 pictures before it shuts off. I get new charged batteries and the camera does the same thing. I thought my battery charger was messed up..so I went and bought a new charger, charged more batteries..but the camera still says the batteries are dead and it only lets me take a few pics before shutting off. Sometimes the camera doesn't turn on at all. I have no receipt so the store won't do anything to help and neither will the SANYO company. Any Ideas ? Thanks

Best Digital Camera for about $300 or less?
Here's the deal I have shot great pictures with an SLR film camera. I now desire a digital camera, as for about $300, since today's digital cameras should equal my old film camera which has broken .The " reviews" out there are confusing. So I will help advisers by keeping my requirements simple. To begin, I don't need a lot of zoom. I don't need video. I don't need SLR. I don't need sports shot capability. I don't need light weight. I don't need prints past 8 x 10. I don't need close ups more than 2 feet. Although these are great if present, all I want is what I had with my film camera. So, I must have GREAT pics in low light conditions. Most pics will be indoors. SHARP focus when pics are taken between 3 feet and 20 feet, indoors. EXCELLENT paper processed prints, in 6 x 4 format, with up to 8 x 10 in good quality. NO artifacts, or else none that are noticable. That's about it. Most 2010 year cameras seem to want to do and be everything, but they cannot do ONE thing right. For me, the camera must only take crisp, clear, sharp, indoor low light photos, as my old film camera did do. Recommendations, please, on some cameras that WILL take good indoor pics, for about $300, regardless of all the bells and whistles.
Digital Camera with excellent sound quality?
I have an Olympus Fe 330 and the pictures on it are pretty good i guess but when I try to take videos the sound on it is always muffled so i want a good digital camera that can take hd videos with really good sound.. like for example at a concert.. I want to be able to hear the songs the way they were played.. or where if i was close to big amplifiers and instruments.. i dont want any muffleness xD i just want the sound to be crystal clear. If anyone has a camera like this i'd like to know.. i mean from personal experience.. not just reviews from the internet. thanks D
